Well Friday turned to be a wet soggy day as the morning was so foggy we could barely see your hand in front of your face. We had plans to visit Katelyn and her horses at 10 AM and almost cancelled as the rain fell until about 9:30 and the fog made for such a wet morning but we persevered and made it to their place. The rest of the day was overcast and we never saw the sun at all during the day.
We played around the cabin with kiddos blowing bubbles, coloring and painting with watercolors. After a lite lunch we waited for Tammy and her family to arrive somewhere around 2:30. We sat and chatted catching up on all their travels as they just got back from a 2 week Alaskan cruise a couple days ago. The kiddos had a wonderful time with Brooke who is just 12 but looks like she is 16. Such a sweet young lady and the kiddos had her time occupied from the moment she got out of their car. Bobby started preparing his gourmet supper that included roasted corn in the shuck, marinated steak, grilled Zucchini, tomatoes, red onions and a reduced sauce of fresh mushrooms, brown rice and chimichuri sauce. Wow, what a delicious feed that was and we licked the platter clean.
After the clean up we settled into a raucous game of double 12 dominoes and by nearly 11 o'clock I emerged victorious over Rich who played magnificently in an almost come from behind victory. It wasn't long that I hit the showers and was soon out for the duration, LATER
