Tuesday

Well Monday started out much the usual with a 6'ish roll out and then my routine before heading out on my bike to the rec for 2 plus hours of pickle ball. The mornings have just enough coolness in the air to make it spring like but by the afternoon the heat and humidity have taken over and the bright sunshine makes it hard to work outside. The wind picked up and was supposed to usher in another front that was to bring rain and cooler temps for the next couple of days . It was a great day for drying laundry on the clothesline.

Amy dropped Sam off on her way to the market and then she, GG and Eliza came for lunch. We had chicken salad that GG made on top of a bed of fresh salad I made from the garden. Afterwards I chilled and starting reading Bobby's book once again and now I'm really into it. The action has really picked up and GG remarked she is into it as well. She likes it so much she had me order one for a grandson in Michigan.

I headed out to the chiropractor around 2 for an adjustment and wow does he ever make you feel good after just a few minutes of manipulations. The traffic in our area is just unbelievable as I think every college kid is here on spring break as well as all of the snowbirds. Nancy and I just chilled until it was time to cook supper around 5. We are trying to eat earlier and reduce our portions as well. I grilled a kielbasa and had fresh steamed asparagus and a sliced fresh garden tomato. After the cleanup I headed out to hand water the gardens then and old USAF buddy called from the outer banks of N.C. We chatted for nearly an hour reminiscing and comparing our ailments. He also has back issues and is in much worst shape than me after having major surgery with plates inserted at Duke Hospital.

Well that was about it for the day as I turned the lights out around 10 with the NCAA basketball game at halftime and the Ray's were down by a run to the Royals, LATER
