Wednesday Morning May 19th

Well we are down to 4 days until departure for the cabin and it's our beautiful daughter Amy's birthday, wow 38 today. Where did that time go? We are so truly blessed by both of our children and seven grand children. Amy is such a great mom and role model for her kids and all of us .

Tuesday started out much the usual with a well before 6 roll out to my routines that start with the cup of tea while I post this ramble then I spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and then lifting up several by name for comfort and for  healing for several. The ride home was against a stiff breeze which blew all day long; thus the temps were held down to the upper 80's. At times it was really comfortable to be outside in shade.

I piddled around in the garden and yards catching up on some last minute chores then took down all the luggage from the attic and brought in the plastic tubs Nancy will pack to take with us. We have to take some baby stuff as well as Rocky(Tyler's large puppy) cage as he will sleep better at nights in it, especially since we are watching him by ourselves for a couple of days. We of course take too much clothing but at least I now no longer plan on a before Fall trip to Florida to get winter clothes, so that means we will take all we need until November.

After lunch I read for a couple hours and then after supper set the yard sprinkler for a couple hours in the front yard. Nancy had her Bible Study class and left at 7 so I tuned into the both the Ray's game and the Lightning games. Dan came down and stayed for a couple hours watching the game with me as Carol was hosting the class. The Ray's were winning big in Baltimore and the Lightning were winning against a rough and tough Panther team in south Florida, when I shut the lights off,  Later
