Well we had some rain from a severe storm that brought a tornado to the area which is just a couple miles from our home. Power poles were sheared off, buildings damaged and vehicles with massive damage. Thankfully no one was hurt that I'm aware of.
Thursday started off with some what cooler temps and by late evening extra clothing was needed when we took the Ross grands out to see the lights at a local park. We kept them for the evening while Amy and Tyler Christmas shopped. I did the usual morning routines with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet moments with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for healing and comfort. All seem as well as can be expected. I continue to keep America and our duly elected potus Trump in my prayers that he will expose the corruption in the gov't while continuing to put this nation first and foremost. I'm beginning to be more certain the fraud election is being exposed and he will serve another term of 4 years which he rightfully earned.
I headed out on my bike to the Rec. for two hours of pickle ball then came home and worked in the garden until lunchtime. I transplanted the Celebrity tomato seedlings, albeit they were still rather young, but I wanted them in the ground while we are gone for two weeks and not in pots. The garden is just about fully planted except for one small strip which I will probably keep fallow unless I pick up an egg plant seedlings. Everything is looking good and I now have kale ready to pick for the salad bowl. I'll probably harvest some to take with us as well as some herbs.
Bobby came for lunch and to pick up the 50 or so cup cakes Nancy made for Ryder and Huck's 1st birthday party on Saturday. Katie has a cake decorating friend who is going to ice them as Nancy baked them. I piddled around and read for a couple hours while Nancy made two trips to Publix. Patrick came by and I had showed him about how to water the gardens and how to use the well. It's tricky with the turn on switch as my pressure valve on the pump is broke. Another chore to do some day down the road.
Nancy made tacos for our supper which is the Ross kiddo's favorite and after the cleanup we headed out to Largo Park for the Christmas night lights. The place was packed and it was quite chilly. We walked around the complex and decided it was too cold and windy and headed home by 7:30 or so. I headed for the bedroom as they and Nancy watched Home Alone on HBO which comes with our TV package. We never watch any shows or at least I don't care to. I watched Newsmax and a little of the football game but was in the hot shower around 9'ish and then checked on Hannity at Fox for a couple before shutting the lights off at 10, LATER
