Well Wednesday wasn't anything exciting to report except it was hot and muggy and we got a severe rain shower just after I finished mowing the yards. I mean it poured buckets for about an hour then typical of Florida the sun came out and you would never know it rained. The sandy soil sucked the rain right up and it was gone. It did help cool things off and by late afternoon I ventured out after supper and it was rather pleasant.
The day started much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my routines that start with the cup of green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent a few minutes with my Creator. All is well with those I lift up by name and sister Pat's husband Keith left the hospital for their home in W.VA. I decided on heading to the rec. around 8:30 and do 45 minutes on the treadmill using the incline to get the legs and heart ready for those steep mountain trails we hike daily at the cabin. The calves of both legs were having some lactic acid buildup from just the one day on the incline. I miss hitting the pickle ball and the competition but suffice to say this weight room workout is better than nothing.
I got back before 10 and started on the yards and manage to get them mowed before the skies opened. I could see the clouds building all around which helped to keep the temps down. I did manage to work in the garden after mowing for a few and dug out the last two tomato plants. The nematodes were evident to the roots as well. I pulled a nice egg plant and we had that for our lunch. Everyone likes fried egg plant especially the grand kiddos. Nancy also fried a couple of the green tomato's I pulled. I have several that were just hanging on the near dead plants and they should go with us to the cabin.
Nancy has it in her mind that its going to be a hot summer at the cabin so she wants to invest in the ductless a/c. I'm not thrilled as we bought two windows units a few years ago but I hate putting them in unless we have company as they are noisy and take away from the ambiance plus getting them installed is now a big job as I have to carry them upstairs and they are bulky and heavy. Anyhow we saw where our friends the Luffman's had one installed in their older home and the folks on top of our mountain put three inside units in their cabin from one compressor. They are not cheap but since we have no way to add ducts it's either stay with what I have which is the window units or go ductless. We all know the answer to that so I made an appointment with an installer in Sparta to come out and give me an estimate and to see if they can be installed in our cabin.
Well Amy and kiddos all came for the lunch of fried egg plant then they all took off to go shopping. I stayed at home, read and caught up on some small issues. We ate leftovers for our supper then settled into the Fox Cable News and see where the last fraudulent potus sold US(A) out to the Iranians with out approval from the congress on some banking issues. I wonder how much of that went into his offshore account. Everything about the last administration is showing up to be corrupt with all of the give aways and now he is responsible for his sycophants in the DOJ and FBI to take down our duly elected POTUS Trump.
I'm never going to believe the msm media will ever get on board and report these findings and now the IG report is going to show just how corrupt Hillary was and the lack of the truth being showed in the investigation of the national security with her emails. The whole bunch was and is corrupt in D.C. and they are so afraid of Trump that he will expose it to the nation. At least a few folks are starting to see the light after yesterday's primary elections which everyone thought the dem's would win and take back the congress. If the dem's win in Nov. and get in control they will attempt to hide all of the corruption so it highly vital we do not let that happen no matter which party you identify with. The existence of our nation depend on the rule of law and transparency and all of those were violated by the Obama administration.
The Rays lost again in D.C big time and tonight could possibly be the last game in the pursuit of the Stanley Cup as the Cap's are up 3-1. The Cap's are the team that beat our Lightning in seven games, LATER
