Well Tuesday found me once again laying around and resting this knee which I keep iced about 6-7 times a day for about 20-30 minutes. I'm actually doing everything I possibly can to help with this healing and once more get back to being active. The day started with me actually sleeping in for a change which is very unusual. It was close to 7 before I rolled out of bed and I do mean rolled out as this dang knee will not bend without pain. After a handful of supplements and ibuprofen along with a cup hot green tea laced with some fresh ginger root and ground turmeric I headed into write this ramble and then do my few quiet moments with my Creator.
The weather here is still on the hot side with high humidity so the a/c is still on despite it being December. I noticed the temps at the cabin are above freezing with lots of rain and fog and then they are calling for snow flurries in the next couple of days. I know I would be miserable there with a bum knee so I'm thankful I can at least get outside and enjoy the warmth in the shade. I spent most of the morning after hand watering the garden, reading while on my back with the leg elevated and an ice pack. Nancy took off with Amy and GG to the mall for more shopping so I was able to rest once again this bum knee. I did notice some improvement today as we headed over to Amy and Tyler's for a delicious supper of cube steak, smashed taters and gravy with fresh green beans and salad. She has become as good a cook as Nancy. We stayed until nearly 8 before taking GG home after watching Wheel of Fortune.
