Tuesday Morning in Florida

Well Monday the weather started out rather nice but around mid-morning it quickly changed. Clouds moved in and the rain began and it stayed that way until late evening. The coldest weather of the year is supposed to infiltrate the area today which gusty winds. There is a freeze warning for the counties north of the bay area but I don't think we will see or feel it unless it's from the wind chill.

I started the day much the usual now that I'm back on the pickle ball court at 8 with a rollout around 6:30. I did my quiet time and posted my ramble for the day before heading out on the bike for a little over an hour of continuous play. I went the first 8 or 9 games with different partners and never lost a set. It's been over a month since I last played so I must have forgot my weakness or had good partners. I think the latter. I stopped at the library for a new read before heading home.

I hung a load of laundry as the sun was shining and then hand watered the garden; not knowing we were in for a drenching rain the rest of the afternoon. I made a guacamole for lunch as Amy, GG and the kiddos were coming with fresh bread and lunch meat. Little Eliza was all smiles and she entertained us with her antics. She is such a cutie and so smart for her age and she stands alone quite a bit.

After they left I spent the afternoon in the reading room as there wasn't much I could do outside. It felt good to do nothing but read for the rest of the day as the workout had worn me out. Nancy made fried rice with fresh broccoli on the side for supper. A meatless day except for the smoked turkey sandwich at lunch. After the clean up we settled into the Fox News and once more saw where our Potus is lying about his connection with the author of Obamacare. These crooks in D.C. should be locked up for their incompetence and down right disregard for the Constitution, LATER
