Well Thursday was basically a run to Sparta day that started around 10'ish and it was close to 1 before we got back at the cabin. I did do some gardening chores and raking some of the driveway where the gravel had pooled after breakfast and my solo hike to the top of the mountain of which I went by Steve's place and said goodbye again. He was packed up and putting the finishing touches on locking down his camper and the Cube as well. He pulled out shortly thereafter and made it to Brunswick Georgia where he spent the night before heading to Seminole some time this morning.
I started the day with a 6 ish roll out to my routines that start with some quiet time honoring my Lord and then giving thanks for another day and lifting several up by name. Nancy seems a little better with her achilles since she has been resting and icing them a few times during the day. She sat on the front porch and read for a couple hours during the after noon and has stayed away from the stairs and any hiking. She tried to make a doctors appointment but that failed and now she thinks she's getting better with my recommendations of R.I.C.E. Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. So far so good.
We stopped at the library and I picked up 4 reads and the we headed to Food Lion for a couple of items before gassing up for the truck and a can to go at nearly a hundred bucks. Triple for what the cost should have been. Biden has sure but the hurts on us middle class folks with high food costs that are out of site as well. I sure hope all those who did actually voted for this idiot into office are thrilled.
Well Jake called and said he was delivering our table and chairs this afternoon. Nancy is as happy as a pig in slop plus we are entertaining the Luffman's for supper so she will be able to show case this addition to her new kitchen. Hopefully this will fulfill her changes for awhile to the cabin, LATER
