Well Tuesday saw us with a little rain from time to time through out the day, enough we had to use the dryer for our laundry. We so love the fresh smell from drying clothes outside on a line in the bright sunshine but yesterday the sun was so intermittent at times. We did get in a good hike to the top of the mountain and the distant vistas were shrouded in fog and haze. I did a little driveway work as the night before the heavy down pour caused some ruts. I got in a good work out on the pickle ball for nearly two hours with 5 other guys despite the rain showers late in the evening.
The day started much the usual with a 6'ish roll out for me. I'm back to my routines in the morning that start with a cup of hot green tea laced with some honey and turmeric that washes down my vitamins and supplements. I spent some time to honor my Creator in thanksgiving and prayer for those who are hurting and in need of some divine intervention especially Nancy's mom GG. The update on her is somewhat encouraging despite still being in the hospital for observation on her fluid retention and drain tubes. We are hoping she will get strong enough to be released and go back for some more rehab before eventually going to live with her son Eric in Michigan where she will get much needed care with family. She would have to be in a facility here in Seminole if she would come back home as we don't know the wherewithal to handle her condition(s) plus we have no experience with home health care. Eric and Diane have made this their living and are equipped for such cases.
We visited with our mountain top friends the Brownings for a few before heading back down in the threat of a rain shower. We decided to eat our big meal of the day around 2'ish as I had pickle ball at 6'ish. We started the day's with bacon we brought back from Virginia which is so good and fresh with a smoke flavor and range fed brown eggs; that held us until we put the leftover grilled chicken breasts on a bed of salad for our lunch/supper. I never ate again the rest of the day and evening until around 8:30 when I had a cold brew after getting home from pickle ball. Well that was about it after a hot shower and watching a little of the Ray's game on the net, LATER
