Sunday Morning Sept 22nd..Anniversary Day

Well Saturday was a fun day as we picked up Sheri and Steve around 10:30 in the morning and headed to Sparta for the Fall Festival which the whole town was closed down with street vendors, tons of different of foods venues as well as music. The weather was perfect, actually a little on the warm side as it must have reached close to 80 with tons of sunshine and blue skies. We ate out at a brand new eatery and picked up a pricey loaf of sour dough bread to go. We did see lots of Trump signs and even picked up a couple to bring home as well. The town was ablaze with high 5's and much to do when we were carrying our signs. We saw only one Biden/Harris sign, but hundreds of Trumps signs which were everywhere and this is a democrat city and county. Folks here can't be fooled like those in the big cities.

I had started the morning with a 6'ish rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. I did my morning stretches on the back porch and knew this day was going to be rather warm and by the late evening Nancy had the a/c on again while we were playing cards, which I didn't think would happen again. I did my morning walks around the perimeter of the property and noticed despite the ropes across the upper garden patch the deer got their heads under the wire and ropes and ate off several of the pepper plants over night. Well I have lots of chicken wire so I covered that area once again to keep them from eating overnight. I sat up the trail cam as well. I once thought it was just the one doe but since we saw two together the other evening in the backwoods yard and one looked like it could have been a fawn, oh well.

After we made a few stops on the way home from Sparta one to gas up at 2.85 a gallon, we dropped the Nymark's off and headed up the drive. I sat and read the afternoon away until supper time when I shucked some corn and then grilled burgers for our supper along with some tater tots. After the clean up we played hand, knee and foot and the gals smoked us this time and then won 2 out of 3 Euchre games. It was a fun time and we finished just a round 9'ish then called it a night. I hit the shower and read until after 10 'ish.

Today is corporate worship day both on line and again in Sparta at Cornerstone. We will have lunch at the Pizzeria afterwards and then head back and probably play games once again. If I failed to mention please watch the "Election Sermon" by Gary Hamrick at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Va. Its on You tube and one that should be heard by every American especially those who call them selves believers in Christ and patriots, LATER
