Well Saturday was a busy day with having a sleep over with all 4 grand young'uns on Friday night. After getting them all situated with drinks, bathroom breaks and breakfast they settled into playing with one another until it was time to head out to the rec for some playtime at the playground. They chased one another, up and down the slides, on the swings and monkey bars. We were hoping to wear them out but it seemed as if the more they ran the stronger their batteries were charged, oh well!
Amy and Tyler showed up around mid morning and they helped with the rec activity and after coming back to the house for lunch they took off with all 4 to their house so the kids could enjoy some of Ava and Sam's toys. They played about 5 hours there so Nancy and I took down the Christmas tree and put the house back in shape. I even got in an hour of gardening before they picked up pizzas for supper along with a fresh garden salad. The kiddos cleaned up the ice cream then settled into the ipad playing games until it was bath time.
We got in 18 rounds of Golf(card game) and Nancy beat us big time while we let the kids soak in the tub in between rounds. Amy and the family headed out before 10 and dropped GG off on their way home. She spent the evening with us as well. I hit the shower and wasn't long before I was doing some horizontal lab. Boy those kiddos can wear you out, LATER
