Well Sunday started out with temps in the low 40's but as the day wore on it warmed up especially with the bright sunshine and clear blue skies to the upper 60's. Fall is definitely here and I don't expect anymore a/c days until we get back to Florida next month. We had the fireplace on both in the morning and again in the late evening and it felt good. I even put on an extra t-short as well of course long pants and a long sleeve shirt and wore a heavy sweater to church.
We did both an on line worship with Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Va. and heard an awesome message on this up coming election. I mentioned it to our local pastor about the message in hopes he will step up and share some of what the Bible tells us about our duty as Believers in doing GOD's will, with regard to our society and preserving our culture according to HIS desire for us as his children. If we want to survive the evil in this world we as Believers had better wake up. What we have are the lesser of two evils who are running for potus and while GOD can use folks like that we must look at their records and their policies if we want to survive. Check out the message from Gary Hamrick at Cornerstone Chapel and Believers get out and vote for the survival of our nation or we will be subjugated by the evil in this world and its showing it face in this candidate in the democrat party.
After church we met up with the Frankis Family for lunch at the Pizzeria which is always good and plentiful. Nancy brought some of her lunch home which is not what she ordered, but it was good as was the same as pizza but in a different wrap. I had the usual fresh salad and personal pan pizza. I did bring Jake and Katelyn some potted wine berry plants, an oregano plant and several small Rose of Sharon seedlings for their place which all need to get in the ground if they want to survive the cold winter months. They won't be at church next Sunday so we will call in Chinese food and bring it home for a change. We headed home and I tuned into the NFL and watched the high lites of several games on the NFL network. The Panthers looked terrible which helps the Bucs who won their game as did the Saints in our division. I didn't do much for the day except vegetate on the couch but I did get up and walk around the gardens for a spell after the game.
We didn't want a supper so I popped corn the old fashion way which was delicious and then checked up on Israel and what was happening there. It seems they are slowly eliminating the terrorist in Gaza, but at a high cost of life and now some political unrest about their not being able to get the hostages back. It doesn't look as if that will ever occur as the terrorists are murdering them in cold blood and using them to further their agendas in regaining Gaza. They are barbarians to say the most and could care less about the Palestinians folks, oh well.
It wasn't long afterwards I hit the shower and then read until lights out at 9:30. I wanted to get ahead of Nancy coming to bed with her snoring and it seemed to work as I finally got in a good nights rest, LATER
