Monday Morning

Well Sunday turned out to be another fantastic day of middle 70's, NO humidity and lots of sunshine. Wow we seldom get this many days in a row of almost perfect winter weather. We worshiped ay Bridgepoint Church in St. Pete along with the Botbyl's and the Tracy's and his sister and husband as well as their daughter Lauren. Pastor Tim finished up a series on "Wisdumb" which was awesome as he took the text from Proverbs. We all need wisdom not the other kind and that "our decisions we make also make us". We are excited about our new church family and want to get plugged in as soon as possible.

Well we started the day with a late 6'ish roll out to start the day. After our usual morning routines of a few quiet moments to honor our Creator and lift up those we know in thought and prayer. We ate lite for breakfast with an apple and a bowl of cereal before getting ready to head out to church. We rode with the Botbyl's today and afterwards stopped at a new fast food eatery in Seminole called Culvers. The place is always packed with cars whenever we are on Park Blvd. so we wanted to try it and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh, very tasty and reasonable. We will go back again when we are in the mood for burgers and fries type of food and we understand their ice cream is very good but rich in calories. We passed on that today.

We got home and Nancy had to run to the grocery as we were meeting at GG's house for a family supper of baked spaghetti and salad. We wanted to visit with Arianne before she headed back to Miami. We had a nice time with her and the food was delicious as well. Amy and Tyler  as well as Betsy and Gus came and all of the kiddos. After the cleanup we headed out at 6 as we were meeting with our small group at the theatre to see the movie "Risen". The movie was very real life with the premise that the followers of Jesus had removed his body from the tomb to fulfill the prophecy that he would rise from the dead. There were many aspects of the movie very realistic to the biblical version and some scenes that were added for continuity. All in all it was an impactful movie depicting the Roman governor Pilate and his henchman attempting to quash the disciples and discrediting the resurrection, but he eventually became a believer after seeing Him first hand. A non -believer would be deeply impacted by this movie. I would recommend the seeing of the film.

Well we got home sometime around 9:30 and it wasn't long until the sandman calleth after showers. We did speak with oldest sister Josie in W.Va. after church as Nancy thanked her for the birthday gift card. She sounded good and was about to go grocery shopping on her one day off. She is a workaholic and she continues a 6 day work week plus night time additional typing. She is also very giving as she always bless's our family with birthday and Christmas gifts. Well that was about it, LATER
