Monday Morning

Well Sunday was another awesome day of worship at Bridgepoint Church with about 5 hundred folks in the second service. We now have 5 services on Sunday as our attendance is sky rocketing. Pastor Tim is a magnificent speaker who is very unimposing in stature and dress and if you get the chance check out the service which streams live on Sunday and each service is also archived. We rode together in the truck with the Tracy's and Botbyl's. Afterwards we had a delicious lunch at our favorite Asian eatery called Jade's Bistro in Pinellas Park.

The day started with a little after 6 roll out for me which was unusual.  I did my customary routines that started started with a cup of hot green/ginger tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then I spent some quiet time with my Creator in thanksgiving and prayers for those I know and love. Afterwards I got ready to head out around 9 for the trip to Bridgepoint.  We decided to head over to Jade's Bistro after the service where we met the owner Kim's sister Haun who was our server. The whole family is from Viet Nam who immigrated here at the start of the war in the 60's. The diner is very successful and the whole family works hard to make it that way. We have become good friends and so enjoy eating and visiting with them. My grand kiddos love to eat there as the food is very good especially the Pho which is what I usually order. The sweet and sour soup is very good and a meal in itself as is the spring rolls and the fresh veggie dishes.

After lunch I settled into reading and watering the gardens as Nancy took her mom grocery shopping and was gone most of the afternoon. I tuned into the Cowboy vs Packers playoff game and it was definitely one of the best games ever with the Packers winning on the last play of the game with a field goal. The late game wasn't as exciting as the Steelers were winning when I turned the lights off around 10'ish, LATER
