Well Sunday was another gorgeous day but all that has changed over night as forecasted. It's pouring rain. The temps were very nice on Sunday with a chill in the air to start the day and by late afternoon I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt. We listened to our home church on line in Seminole and then headed out to Cornerstone for a 10AM service. Afterwards we came home after a library stop to drop off some books and ate leftovers from this past week.
The day started with a 7'ish rollout for me to my usual routines that start with a cup of hot green tea laced with clove honey and turmeric while I did my quiet time and posted this ramble. The up date on GG is some what better as she is back home(Eric's) from the hospital and is speaking quite normal. Nancy had a nice conversation with her but she tires quickly. Our dear friend Carroll from Cornerstone isn't doing very well with his cancer. His wife mentioned yesterday he has no appetite and is melting away. He is such a worker for the church and always had huge gardens sharing much of his bounty and was always at the church when ever the doors were open. He will be greatly missed.
We went over to visit our "mountain mom" Helen who we haven't seen in a couple weeks. We took her some of our leftover goodies as well as a mess of half runner beans. We sat out on her front porch in sunlight for nearly and hour and caught up on that's going on with her and Joe her brother. Joe is back to driving which is a blessing for her. The huge corn fields that surrounded her place had been harvested so now you have a view of the beautiful mountains again. We stayed for about an hour then headed home to get in a hike to the top of the mountain. We saw no one on top then headed across and down the back road. We did notice more red colors on the mountainside as well as along the back road. I thought the peak had come and gone but there are still plenty of green leaves on lots of the trees. The tall oaks around the cabin have suddenly started to turn as well but there are plenty of fallen leaves as well.
After a supper of left overs I broke down and checked the NFL scores of which the home town team got whupped again which is no surprise. I've lost my enthusiasm for the league in general with their anti-patriotic stand which is really an anti-Trump stand paid for my the dem's and the leftist. Nothing breaks my heart like what is going on with those who hate America and our Judeo-Christian background upon which the nation was founded. We are seeing now where there is so much corruption by the Clinton and Obama's that sold the nation's uranium to our enemy and then turned around and accused Trump of collusion. There motives are plain: lie, obfuscate, deceive and accuse the one person who is shining some light on their criminal activities along with the MSM to bring him down. This special counsel Muller knew of the uranium deal while he was the FBI director and did nothing to stop this criminal deal with the Russians along with several in the DOJ. Trump is exposing them and hopefully the American folks will demand a special prosecutor to uncover their activities, LATER
