Saturday Morning August 17th`

Well Friday was another work day that had me once again spending all day on those stumps in the back yard trying to burning them out. I have reduced them considerably but the one still has several burns to go, but at least I'm cleaning up the back woods of fallen debris and old wood I've stock piles of which needed burning. I believe one more burn on one stump will finish that one off and I can cover it with dirt for grass to grow over it and make my mowing so much easier.

I had started the day with a well before 6 rollout to my routines that start with honoring my lord, Jesus, giving thanks for another day and to lifting up several by name especially two of our mountain friends Billy and Ann who both had surgery yesterday as well as several who are hurting both here in the mountains and in Florida. We pray for the nation of Israel as they are being bombarded by the radical muslim barbarians sponsored by Iran.

I did a check on the yards and gardens to start my outside activities for the day and transplanted 6 pots of lettuce seedlings into the upper garden which the brat deer doesn't seem to bother except the sun flowers around the perimeter. She has eaten off most of the leaves but the flowers themself is shining brightly and adding so much color. I'm starting to see more color in the tomato's and now have more than I can use. We are having for the first time our new neighbors Bob and Mary along with Grant and Shirley for supper this evening and then teaching them the game called Sequence. Hopefully they will enjoy both. We did get some rain after a supper of left over Zuppa soup and biscuits and then we settled into the LLWS games. We watched a really good game by the one Florida team from ST. Marys who beat a good team from Washington State.

It wasn't long after the game I hit the shower and then read until close to 10, LATER
