Tuesday Morning Nov 5th

Well Monday was another work day after a fun morning on the pickle ball court starting at 8 AM and ending at 10'ish. I'm finally getting my stamina back and the play has been great especially playing 6 days last week. I'm hoping to get back to at least two hours a day on the court and the play has really improved with most everyone. I did garden work the rest of the morning until it got to hot after lunch and then again in the late afternoon until supper time. The temps have dropped 10 degrees or so and and the humidity is not as bad but I still work up a sweat.

I started the day much the usual with my routines that always start with a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I post this ramble then lift up several by name to my Creator during my quiet time. All seem as well as can be expected. My old classmate seems to be recovering physically which is a plus. Out of 211 folks who graduated with me in 1964,  51 that I know of have passed and several have serious health issues. I'm blessed with the ability to run and play as well as do hard physical work; all of which I love and thats probably why I'm in rather decent shape. My big issues is I like to eat and the spare tire is visible once again but not as bad as it could be. Nancy is such a good cook and a fan of desserts which always has me cleaning up the leftovers and sweets she quickly decides to not eat at times. I never could understand the throwing away of good food and I guess that comes from growing up in the country where we grew most of our food.

I transplanted all but a couple of the herbs I brought back from the mountains and they really looked great with awesome roots. Keeping them in area surrounded by chicken wire helped to keep the pesky squirrels from digging them up. Most are large enough they should be fine from their digging. I did sow some collards and kale seeds and noticed the beet seeds I sowed a couple days ago are showing some color. I had four beet seedlings I brought back the deer did not kill by eating them to their roots and they are doing fine and will soon be ready for harvesting their tender leaves for our salads. The Swiss chard and the kale are ready now to add to the salads along with the black seeded Simpson lettuce.

Keep our Potus Trump in your thoughts and prayers as he is facing a savage bunch in the dem party as they are pulling a sham impeachment attempt to remove him from exposing the every present corruption within their party that has been ongoing for decades. I've never seen such hypocrites who accuse him of doing what they have been doing for years and whats troubling is the media is so biased against him except for FOX Cable news and they have a few who are less than supportive as well. I really believe he will survive this attempt to remove him and he will be re-elected next year. America has come along way in just 3 years with his leadership and we are becoming a great nation once again as we value our GOD, Family and those who keep US(A) safe from the enemies of America. Our biggest issues are internal with the left disrespecting the rule of law and our leo's as well as the last corrupt administrations attempt to destroy this duly elected Trump from the very first day he became Potus, LATER
