Saturday Morning July 10th

Well Friday was a busy get ready for Bobby and Family as they got in around 4:30 after an uneventful trip; so we are thankful for all who prayed for traveling mercies for them. We kept busy throughout the day as we put the last minute touches on the cabin and of course Nancy was busy in the kitchen with meal preparation as well as cookie making. The meal and cookie are always a tradition for this group with spaghetti and meat balls as well as ginger snaps when they arrive, oh well.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my morning routines of a cup of hot tea while I post this ramble then lift up several during my quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks for my blessings. All seem well as can be expected. I did my early morning non stop hike to the top of the mountain then came back and piddled around in the yards and gardens until Nancy did her routines. Afterwards we had a lite breakfast of oatmeal and fruit as we knew we would be eating heavy for supper.

We had a fun time with the boys when they first got out of their vehicle as they tried to walk on the sloped yards. They squealed and laughed as they ran down the hills and into our arms and Ryder loved going barefoot on the rocky driveway. We took them on a short golf cart ride before supper and then again on a longer ride to the top of the mountain after supper where we stopped and visited briefly with some of the folks there.

It wasn't long after getting back it was tubby time and then off to bed the boys went at 7. That is their routine and we never heard a peep afterwards. The rest of us played dominoes until nearly 10 with Annsley the winner. Everyone was worn out by the early rise and the long trip so showers were taken and we all soon were heading in for some horizontal lab. We did have the Ray's came on while playing domino's and they were winning big over the Jay's, LATER
