Well the time is flying by as here it is a new month. I'm still doctoring this back issue and the mornings seem to be the most painful after getting a decent nights sleep. I had another treatment yesterday morning and felt somewhat better throughout the day with just minimal pain as I iced the lower back 10 minutes out of every hour for nearly 10 hours. I followed the doctors orders of walking and sitting no longer than 30 minutes and even did some lower pelvic exercises while lying flat on my back. That actually felt rather good but this morning, wow the pain seems to be back as strong as ever and its running down the right leg to the knee. I'm at a loss of what to do, but I'll head back to the doctors for another treatment on Thursday.
There isn't much to write about as I've done very little except try to doctor this back throughout the day. Neighbor Gerald came back and got his tractor started and moved it back down to his garage after it quit running for me. We got a late afternoon rain which was gentle compared to the black storm clouds which hovered in the area for what seemed hours. We did get in some card games which helped pass the time in between the icings and walks around the porches.
I did do some walks around the yards checking on the gardens which need some hoeing but I'm passing on all the little jobs and giving the back almost total complete rest. We did drive over to our "mountain mom" Helen's beautiful real log cabin for a visit and to take back some tools her son will use when he comes this week from our area in Florida. Helen is having some knee issues and she had a shot of cortisone in her knee last week and I'm thinking maybe this is what I need into my back. The pain for the first hour is excruciating which is very puzzling to me after a good nights sleep. Well enough of my issues but I'm taking more pills in these past several days than I take into my body in years. I sure hope this is not a sign to come for the rest of my life, LATER
