Wednesday Morning

Well Tuesday once again saw us with temps into the 50's to start the day and maybe reached the low 70's by late afternoon. It was breezy which kept it great for working outside and for drying clothes on the line. We still have the a/c off which is great and a couple windows open for clearing out the house smells and stagnant air. We had no one for lunch for a change which made it quiet and lonely around here so I did get in some great reading time outside under the big oak in the back yard.

The day started much the usual with a before 6 roll out and my usual few moments to give thanks to my Creator during my quiet time. After posting this ramble I ate a light breakfast before getting ready to ride to the REC when I looked out into the back yard and there was another raccoon in my trap. I didn't use anything for bait but it must have smelled the last one I caught a couple days ago and wondered into the trap so I had to take up the woods and turn it loose before heading out on my bike. That's a possum and two 'coons so far plus the neighbor's cat since setting the trap and our return to Florida in just a little over two weeks.

We had 3 pickle ball courts in action by the time I left around 9:30. A couple of the A players showed and we had a good workout for an hour and half before we had to give up the challenge court to the many B players. It was plenty of playing time for me as my knees are still somewhat sore from the spading of the garden and breaking through the many roots with the shovel. I think next year I may look into buying a rotor tiller and save my knees and back with all of this spading by hand. I stopped off at the library to return some reads before heading home to hang clothes for Nancy. She had her mother out to some of her many appointments and then for shopping. It was close to 1 before she got home. I decided to mow the yards and then work in the garden until lunch time then I sat and read for a couple hours.

I grilled deer burgers for my supper and Nancy had "chicken fried deer steak" for hers. She contends the ground deer from last year is too old for her but I can't tell any difference so she prepared this years kill for herself which was delicious as last years kill. After the clean up I settled into my new read and she tuned into the FOX News channel. Our potus is so uninformed or just plain ignorant and I really think a little of both and that doesn't speak highly of those who voted for him twice. Hillary is a crook and the party she represents is once again burying its head in the sand. I'm afraid partisan politics is going to become the down fall of our nation along with getting away from what made us a great land and that's our Judeo-Christian principles. It's so sad to think we have elected those who campaign on the killing of our innocents, taking in and supporting illegals who want to kill us and forgetting about the men and women in uniform who gave of themselves to preserve our freedoms and liberties and now backing the racial divide and hatred for our laws because of political correctness. Maybe this is the beginning of the end times as mentioned in the Bible as what use to be right and good is now wrong and bad and that isn't even mentioning the evil in the rest of the world with these radical Islamist that our leaders fail to call it by name, Oh well, LATER
