Wednesday Morning

Well Tuesday started out with that molar bothering me for most of the night before but I was able to maintain the ache with some ibuprofen until I met up with the dentist around mid morning. The x-rays showed some what appeared to be a cavity beneath the filing and some cracking in the tooth from all of the amalgam injected into the drilled out molar. I learned that's what happened 50 years ago when this form of dentistry was practiced. My dentist here couldn't work me in for a crown until Thursday morning, needless to say during the night the ibuprofen wore off and by this AM I was suffering until I could get another dose in me.

Tuesday found me pretty much with the usual routines after an early roll out. I did my quiet times and had a lite breakfast before getting ready for the rec. The temp's were in the high 60's to start the day but the fog was so heavy even the birds were sitting on the power lines and it stayed foggy and overcast  for most of the day. We maybe saw the sun all total an hour or so throughout the day. I headed out to the rec on my bike for an hour and half of pickle ball and got in a great workout despite at times a little jolt from the tooth especially when I leaned down to retrieve the ball. I hurried home to jump in the shower before heading out to the dentist. I actually thought they would work on me today but they just worked me in to decide what the problem was and how to correct it and how much it was going to cost, YIKES!!!

Nancy was surprised to see me back after being gone less than half an hour. I headed out to the garden to harvest lettuces, spinach, beet greens and kale for a huge salad for lunch. Amy, GG, Sam and Eliza were coming to eat as well. After lunch I headed into the reading room and little Eliza would come in from time to time and want to watch this one kid video she loves on the laptop. She would jabber and raise her arms for me to pick her up and then she would stand on the chair between my legs and laugh and clap her hands to the music on the video. She did this several times until it was time for them to pick up Ava at 3. I took GG with me to deliver her old TV cabinet at a thrift store then dropped her off at her house and to help with a few little projects that needed some attention.

I hand watered the gardens when I got home while Nancy did her workout walking through the hood and then I harvested some collards to accompany some fish sticks we were having for supper. After the clean up we settled into the Fox News channel for the rest of the evening until it was close to bedtime. I did get in a few chapters of a new read titled DISTRUBING THE PEACE by Richard Yates before lights out for me around 10:30, LATER
