Friday Morning Jan 28th

Well I made it through an operation of the lungs having some many blood  clots removed. I was amazed to see at least 40 pieces removed and I'm sure they were part of a much longer clot but still to see so much removed was very heartening to think they got the big clots from my lungs and now they will heal and I can get back to being full time once again. Thank all of you who prayed me through this event and at times I was worried when just speaking caused me to be so short winded and breathless. I still have some clots in the legs but the blood thinner will take care of those I hope and its looking good thus far.

On a sad note Paw paw passed this morning around 8 and its not as if it was unexpected as he was 94 and had some severe health issues the last couple of weeks. I'll not be able to attend to pay my respects for a man who took me into his family when I was a wee lad and raised me as the brother of his three daughters. He out lived all of his siblings since his youngest brother passed a couple weeks ago. I think my son Bobby will try to attend his service depending on the weather and his schedule.

I'll be here in the hospital for at least another day as I start some physical therapy and get off this O2 and start exercising again. It's looking like I may start my first script for life which maybe a blood thinner called eliquis. Since I have used it before its looking like that might be my first daily script.

Well that about it and while the lungs seem to be some what better I'm ice packing the knot on the side of my heads from the unconscious fall on Monday which is what brought me back to this hospital. I'm being seen by a cardiologist due to the damage the lungs caused to the right side of the heart  from the lack of O2 which caused me to black out as well as a pulmonologist. I'll be doctored up as is Nancy, LATER
