Well time is just slipping away as we start another month. Its just 2 months until we plan on heading to the cabin if all goes well. The heat here in central Florida is oppressive after lunch until about 5'ish then it become quite pleasant with the breeze. We are still without rain and although I'm watering a couple times a day the garden and yards are thriving.
I started Tuesday much the usual with my 6'ish rollout to my usual routines that start with the handful of Nutrilite vitamins and supplements washed down with the cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric. The reason I mention the Nutrilite products is I know they are what helps keep me active and healthy and they are made in the USA; not China and you can only purchase these products through Amway of which I'm an I.B.O. So if any of you who are interested in using these awesome products which are all made from plants grown on organic farms and processed in Michigan, let me know.
I did my quiet time lifting up several by name and giving thanks that all in our family are without issue on the virus. I only know one person who was tested positive and he is doing better with just a lingering cough. His symptoms were flu like to start with but did not need to be hospitalized and is recovering on his own at home. Everyone else that I lift up daily seem to be holding their own. I sure miss playing pickle ball daily as the local Rec. issued a stay away order from using the outside court, Oh well. I know of another complex who has 4 courts for the game and I will go down and hopefully play next week. I was going today(WED) to play but Bobby wants us to come for a visit with the boys on Friday as we miss them dearly, so I do not want to be around any new folks until after that visit, just in case.
I finished the table for Amy and Tyler and what a difference the outcome was from what it looked like to start. It turned out beautifully and they were pleased. We forgot to take a before and after picture. I gave away another mess of collard greens to a young family up the street along with a beautiful head of loose leaf lettuce. He was surprised at how great the garden looked. I also hauled 4 huge bags of oak leaves from a neighbor who had them out for the garbage and now have enough plant food for the worms for next years garden. They will work these leaves down over the summer and add much needed compost for next Novembers planting.
I took a late evening bike ride and the wind was quite strong. We are supposed to get a cold front which means the highs are only in the 70's which would mean a warm front at the cabin, oh well, LATER
I didn't know she had taken a photo of the table top; we are now getting 2 to 3 and even 4 cukes a day and the radishes are so sweet and juicy.
