Well hopefully next week this time I'm sitting at the kitchen table making this post looking out into the back woods yard after leaving hot sunny Florida. Sunday was a great day of worship both here at home at S.R.B.C. and then on line with Cornerstone before we left at 10'ish. It was our last Sunday to work the Welcome Desk at S.R.B.C. before we get back in November. We heard a great message and the service was packed with many new faces as we celebrated Mother's Day. A potted plant was made available to all the mothers on their way out of the church.
It was just the two of us as our normal passengers skipped church to be with family so we came straight home and had a lite lunch as were having Amy's family plus Aunt Betsy and Braden came in place of his dad for a family dinner of sauerkraut and pork, plus smashed taters, hot dogs and kielbasa. Betsy brought some peanut butter pies and a store bought lemon pie for dessert. What a feast and one of our favorite meals as we helped to clean out the fridge and freezer.
I watched the Ray's finally win a game but they were trying to lose after being up 4 runs in the later innings. The Yanks closed to within one run. What a series as we had two grand slams in two days and lost one of those games, oh well. They are still leading the division.
I'm off to the VA this afternoon in hopes to get some meds for this back ache as well as get my ears cleaned out since they are still stopped up. I also have a meeting with the eye doctor as well. Everything seems good in that department thus far, Praise GOD, LATER
