Well Tuesday was a work day for me as well as 3 hikes I got in as Nancy was off to the big town of Sparta to have lunch and then shop at the stores in town with Kathryn as it was a girls day. I had a great time as well doing what I love to do; work in the yards and then hike a couple different routes along the back woods trails and across the mountain top. It was a bit warm and more humidity than usual but it was great to be in the woods among nature and all GOD made things and to work up a sweat.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my usual routines that start with the cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble, spent some quiet time with my Creator and then lifted several by name up for healing and comfort. All seem as well as can be expected at this point in time. I noticed the Heavenly Blue morning glories are sharing their beauty each day now with at least one bloom and sometimes as many as three. They are gorgeous and so delicate as well and the color blue is so beautiful I do not known how anyone could reproduce it. The picture of it doesn't do it justice. I transplanted the lettuce seedlings that survived the down pour the other day as I left them out in the open. I lost maybe half of the seedlings but if these make then I will have plenty to add to the salads. I also transplanted some volunteer tomato plants into the backwoods bed and some seedlings from a tomato that had gone soft. I had a group of seedlings that was at least 30 or more that I had thrown into the garlic patch and they were up about 2 inches in height. I'm hoping to take some of these back to Florida for my fall/winter garden there.
I loaded up the golf cart with a hoe, rake and shovel and headed into the backwoods area where I have a dirt pit that I use for fill dirt. It does have lots of rocks but the dirt seems great for filling in low spots and I'm thinking of adding some to the garden beds as well. I dug and hauled three loads of dirt which caused me to work up a sweat while I filled in the low spots along the once garden bed. That kept me busy until nearly 1'ish before I came in to have a bite of lunch. Afterwards I headed up the mountain for my second hike of the day then when Nancy got back from Sparta around 3'ish we took off on another long hike. I saw no one on either time up the mountain.
We decided to eat lite for supper with just a salad as she had a heavy lunch at the pizzeria and I finished off the leftovers from the night before for lunch. We settled into the FOX news station which is about the only MSM networks that is somewhat fair and balanced but they have a few who come on who are totally filled with the TDS. It's so sad to think we have elected as well as non elected officials in the gov't who hate this potus so much they are willing to sacrifice the nation for their vitriol towards him. Its sedition or treason in my book and I'm praying he will be re-elected and the folks of this nation will send the radical leftest packing for good, GOD willing, LATER
