Monday Morning June 5th

Well Sunday started out so foggy it was hard to see off the mountain as we drove to church at Cornerstone in Sparta. It had rained off and on during the night and it was damp with temps in the low 50's but by the time we left church and the Pizzeria afterwards the sun was starting to lighten up the skies but no real break through until late afternoon. I started the day with a before 6 roll out to my usual routines that start with some quiet moments to honor my LORD, give thanks for another day and then to lift up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected due to ages and health issues.

We watched Cornerstone at Leesburg, Va. with Gary Hamrick on line and he gave a powerful message on what is happening in America with our culture and how the evil one is making its present known with those who are "woke" and promoting this division to destroy US(A). Pastor B at our Cornerstone church gave a good message on being a 2 miler at home, at work and against those who we call our enemy. America is in dire need and especially those of us who profess to be Christ Followers to make ourselves heard once again for what is right, according to GOD's plan for humanity. The radical Left is doing everything to destroy that plan.

We met up with the Frankis Family for lunch at the Pizzeria for a delicious lunch. Nancy stayed away from the norm and had a bacon grilled chicken sandwich with fries that looked awesome. I had the salad and a small pan pizza which was very good. We shopped afterwards at the Food Lion and then again at the produce stand before heading home to let Rocky outside. He was good while we were gone as he must have slept. I tuned into the Ray's game and watched them win again over the Red Sox in Boston 6-2. The final game of the series is today Monday at 3:30 which is about the time I call it quits and usually read until supper time.

We took Rocky on a hike up to the top of the mountain after the game so he could get some exercise. He likes to run through the brush and the game trails with his nose to the ground but always comes back to us as we get near the cabin. He is a big pain at times as he like to dig in the fire pit and runs through the flower beds as well as chews and swallows sticks he fines in the woods. We feed him twice a day and sometimes he wants more and other times turns his nose up at his food, Oh well, LATER
