Well Sunday found us at Cornerstone in Sparta for worship but before heading out we watched another great message from Gary Hamrick on line from Cornerstone Chapel regarding Paul's message about the government in the book of Romans. Everyone who is a Believer should hear his message and take heed.
I had started the morning with my usual well before 6 rollout to my routines that start with some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and then lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected. I walked around the property checking for deer and slug damage but all seemed well. I sure miss my hike with Steve at 7:30 to the top of the mountain, since he left for Seminole around 6'ish. He made it back safely after about a 12 hours drive.
We headed out around 9:30 for Cornerstone and heard a good message from pastor B and afterwards met up with the Frankis Family at a new Mexican eatery just outside of town. I was very impressed with the service and the authentic food and the price was very reasonable. Its small with some outside sitting as well as inside. I think there were 7 tables and booths inside and at least that many outside. That held us the rest of the day except for an apple and some peanut butter around 7'ish.
I watched the Ray's finally win the best of 3 games in Pittsburg before heading back to St.Pete. They have so many injuries and their pitching isn't as strong this year and I doubt they will make the playoffs if they continue to lose, who knows maybe they will turn it around and finish strong. We ended the evening watching some girls pro softball teams play before hitting the shower and then some read time before lights out around 10'ish. We desperately need some rain as I'm hand watering daily and the grasses are turning brown which is quite unusual, but the high heat in the afternoons and the breeze is drying everything up. I did pick another basket of black raspberryies and they too are starting to dry up on the vine. Today Monday its off to Galax from errands and then again back to Cornerstone at 7 PM for both a women's and mens Bible study classes, LATER
