Monday Morning Sept 8th

Well its turns cooler here on the mountain with temps down once again into the low 50's and highs of the upper 60's but a steady breeze makes it feel even colder. At least we have some sunshine and blue skies. Sunday started out with my usual 6'ish rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet times to homnor my lord, Jesus, give thanks and to lift up several by name for comfort and healings, all are holding with this post but several have severe health issues and we are praying for a miracle for healing.

I headed out to stretch on the back porch after posting this ramble and to check on the gardens which are starting to dry up what the deer haven't eaten and many of the veggies are showing the end is near especially the yellow squash vines and plum tomato's and a couple of the tall half runner bean plants were ripped right out of the ground from the storm that came through and blew down the poles holding them up. The egg plants never produced after the deer ate the tops off but did produce a couple blooms but now the cold has stopped any maturing, oh well. The cucumbers are producing some small nub's as the vines are drying up despite watering and feeding them. I can't as its really been a banner year for most every thing and I have given away tons of veggies as well as blue berries and raspberry jellies from our small patch.

We headed out to church in Sparta after watching our church service on line and heard great messages from both pastors Gary and Brian. Afterwards we headed to the local Mexican eatery with the Frankis Family for a delicious lunch that held me the rest of the day and evening except for some popcorn, popped the old fashion way around 7'ish in a kettle with some olive oil, delicious. It was the first Sunday for the NFL and I spend the afternoon and evening watching these over paid mostly inept and poor excuse as role models play the game. As much as I love the game these players today are almost as bad as Hollywood liberals with their contempt for those who pay their salaries and give them a salary they are less than deserving in my way of thinking. Anyhow my local team the Bucs, barely beat a division team and are the only team in the division to win any games, so thats good for us fans but the level of play as a whole is dismal when they are paid millions a season to play a game, oh well.

At the half time of the late game I hit the shower and then read until 10:30 when it was lights out for me, LATER
