Well Sunday started out with beautiful weather with the temps in the upper 50's but that changed a little after lunch when clouds moved in and then a soaking rain that lasted well into the night time hours. This morning its so foggy the birds are grounded. We had to put an extra blanket on the bed over night as well.
I did my solo hike after my quiet time finishing up with a good talk with my LORD venting after giving thanks for my life and those I know and love. I'm disgusted with what this corrupt administration is doing to our country and if we don't take it back in November we are a doomed nation. I sure hope there are some democrats who love our country and who are patriots and side with whats best for America because the radicals are in control and want a one world order.
We had nearly a full house for worship at Cornerstone and afterwards we met the Frankis Family at the Pizzeria for a delicious lunch which held me the rest of the day. We made a stop at the library to drop off some books then headed to Food Lion for some last minute items for the dinner on Wednesday when the Tracy's bring their friends for supper. I'll smoke a pork butt as they were on sale for 9 hours.
We headed over to Kimberly's to visit with her, her mom and sister. We didn't go to her place last year for some reason but she has a huge beautiful place with tons of gardens and flower beds and lots of horses. Her mom lost her husband last year and she to suffered severely with covid. We commiserated together about our event. She is such a lovely person and is 84 years young. Kimberly was Kimberly as always a chatter box but we also love her and she is a worker as well. She has her hands full with Eddie being laid up in a nursing home and unable to contribute to the care of the farm. She of course has her love for dogs and cats which are in abundance. It was a nice visit as she showed us how she used our old cabinets in her new tack room.
Well we got back and the Ray's won again for 2 days in a row. The Bucs lost in preseason and the LLWS stats on Wednesday. We always enjoy watching these youngster who are our two grandsons ages, LATER
