Well Sunday turned out to be just a beautiful day with a slight chill in the air; actually after the front moved through on Saturday evening it brought dry air into the bay area and by Sunday morning it felt as if it had cooled down. By late afternoon the temp's began to rise back to the usual.
Sunday morning found us getting ready to head to Tampa for the gathering at Element Church. We left around 9 as Nancy had to work the check-in desk for the youngsters with Carol. This will be her last Sunday to do that for awhile as she and Carol do that the first Sunday of every month. Hopefully the first Sunday in June we will be at Cornerstone in Sparta, N.C.
After church we headed home and dropped Carol off at her house as Dan had a late meeting with the elders at Element. We ate left over spaghetti for a late lunch and that held me the rest of the day. I vegetated on the couch to watch the Ray's beat the Yankees 5-1 in the final game of this series before they head home for a few days. We headed out around 5:30 to pick up GG and take her with us to see Ava perform in a musical play at SFBC with the youth group. Ava was awesome and she received many accolades as well as she was center stage in the singing choir and movements. It was a nice performance and afterwards they had a social in the fellowship hall. We chatted up several of our old friends before heading out. It was a good time of fellowship.
I settled into reading and watching some T.V. before it was lights out for me at 10, LATER
