Tuesday Morning July 7th

Well Monday was another almost perfect day weather wise with a cool morning to start in the 60's and it did reach the upper 70's. We did eat supper outside on the deck around 6:30 and it was as delicious as eating outside as was the prime rib. We had a 2 bone end cut from our Christmas meal that was in the freezer so we roasted it in the oven to perfection. I'm still dealing with the back pain but not nearly as severe as it once was but its still there. I did feel good enough to ride the mower and mow all of the yards dividing it up in time slots. The back actually felt good doing so. I think keeping busy helps with negotiating the constant ache.

I started the day with a before 6 roll out to my usual routines that start with the cup of tea, quiet times to honor my Creator and Lord, lifting several up by name as well as myself. The pregnisone has helped but I'm wondering if I may need a second round as I'm about to drop down on this regiment to nearly half of what I've been taking for the pain and inflammation. I'm back to the Chiro this morning(tue) for another adjustment; I sure hope this helps with me getting back into alignment and totally back and knee pain free.

I'm seeing more and more zucchini's on the plants and now the cukes are staring to send out runners as well. We have been doing more and more each day to get ready for company in this coming weekend. Bobby called and said they put the boys in daycare at a local church for the first time. I'm anxious to see how they did as they will start there full time after this vacation. We are getting excited about their visit as well as Annsley and Gabe arriving as well. The wineberries are starting to ripen so they will have fun picking and eating them. The blueberries haven't started to turn yet but should while they are here.

The seedlings I set out on Sunday evening seem to be doing O.K. I did hand water them and fed them some liquid food. Most of the large tomato plants look as if they will recover all except maybe one which was the strongest originally. I did see where the radishes are marble size so I sowed another row. I'm still getting some jalapeno's from the plant I brought up from my Florida garden along with the Swiss chard and beets. They are all doing fine and I should be harvesting some for our fresh gardens salads in the coming days.

Well that was about it for the day as the yards look fantastic after mowing. We took off on a golf cart ride to the top after supper and the views are always majestic to say the least. The lot on top which is getting ready for building has a magnificent view. We wish our friends had purchased it and build there as they are always changing their minds about buying or building in the mountains. This view is a showcase, LATER
