Well Monday started out with rain throughout the night and into the morning hours. It was once again much needed and the skies stayed fairly overcast for most of the day. I did not have to water for once since the rain was enough. I did harvest the last beet and some carrots for supper and of course kale, radishes and green tomato's for my fence guy who came by and stayed for over an hour. He is from Virginia and has place not far from our mountain cabin in Floyd, Va. What an interesting man and just full of conversation plus a Believer which always helps. His daughter and my daughter and son all graduated from the same christian school as well as college. What a small world and his estimate is half of what one was by another fence company. He is a small time fence company and has been doing that for 40 years, plus he is a friend of our friend Steve and Sheri Nymark. I held my own for the duration and left whupped with a wet head. The rain showers had ceased so I went to the barber shop which is just a few minutes away for an ear lowering after leaving the rec. Nancy was at the dermatologist having a check up and some issues burned off.
I ate the breakfast casserole which was leftover for lunch and a very tasty tomato and jalapeno from the garden. It was a read afternoon until my fence guy came to talk for nearly an hour then it was supper time with leftover lamb, beets and carrots. After the clean up I settled into the Lightning game and then the Ray's game. The Bolts won in overtime against the first pace Hurricane team and the Rays were winning when I shut the lights off at 10, LATER
