Well Tuesday was a little warmer after a beautiful cool morning that actually saw a sun shower late in the evening. It didn't amount to much except settle the dust but it did cool things down a little. The a/c remained on over night until this AM when the temps reached the 60's once again to start the day.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish rollout to my routines that start with some quiet time to honor my LORD, give thanks for another day and to lift several up by name for healing and comfort. All seem as well as can be expected. Tyler and Sam are doing well on their hike and have at least one more over night stay before getting back to the cabin on Thursday evening.
We didn't do much here at the cabin as I headed up to the back road with Ava and Eliza in the golf cart to saw up a small maple tree that had fallen down over the road. I saved the wood for the camp fires for a later date. We did take a late hike to the top of the mountain around 4'ish and came back and started on supper. Nancy is making all of the dishes they usually don't get because of Tyler allergy to garlic. We had fried squash as well as Tortillas soup for our supper and I cleaned up the last of the pot roast for lunch which was very tasty while they had sandwiches and Zuppa soup. Breakfast had me frying biscuits in bacon grease outside on the grill which was very tasty, they are almost like a donut and the taste is delicious, another favorite of everyone.
Well today I think the girls are all going to Galax, Va. to shop while I keep Rocky company. I have some piddling chores to do around the cabin then I'll take him for a hike. I'll catch up on some down time as well, LATER
