Monday Morning last one in 2015

Well Sunday was a good day of worship at a mega church in Indian Rocks. For the first time since we have visited there I haven't run into anyone I knew as we went to the later service at 10:45. I think if we continue to worship with them it will be the earlier service at 9 but on the way there we noticed some signs for a new church plant at St.Pete college which is just across the road from our house; so we will try that next Sunday and see if it's to our liking. It's difficult to find a new church and now I must share that Bobby has left First Baptist of Riverview as the elder board decided they wanted a choir director instead of a worship leader so they had the pastor let Bobby go after 6 months. Needless to say several younger families were quite disappointed as was the pastor with that decision when it was announced that yesterday was his last Sunday. Oh well!!!

The morning was much the usual after a nearly 7'ish roll out, yikes I can't believe the internal alarm is on a hiatus. It feels good for a change to sleep in. We did our usual morning routines then got ready to head out around 10:30, picking up Dan and Carol on the way as we are still looking for a church to call home. Element Church is just too far away to get involved so we together are looking to see where we can get involved into some local ministry. IRC has all kinds of programs and ministries but there are a few hoops you have to jump through which is understandable to be involved, oh well!

We heard a good message and are looking forward to some sermons on "political correctness" the second week in January. Finally some one from the pulpit is going to address this destructive phenomenon that has infiltrated our culture and I'm excited to hear what the pastor has to say. We made plans after the service to meet up with Bobby and Katie in St.Pete for lunch at Carmelita's along with Dan and Carol. We drove separately to the restaurant as we both had some shopping to do at different stores. Bobby was running later than expected but we had a good meal of enchiladas, salsa and chips and it was after 3'ish before we finally left the eatery. They were meeting up with our neighbors the Perry's and the Anderson for a boat ride on the intercostal waterway and it was after 9 before they got back to the house to pick up their truck and then they had to drive to Brandon Seems they are taking the Annsley and Gabe on an over night camping trip today.

Well the Bucs stunk up the field once again to the bears and the Panthers had a let down as well as the lowly Falcons, whom the Bucs beat won over the Panthers. I guess the saying is true "on any given day you will find your match", oh well. The Bucs go to N.C. next Sunday and that will be ugly for the Bucs I'm sure. The Cardinals slaughtered the Packers which was unbelievable as well. We spent the rest of the evening flipping between the Alaskan shows and the late football game. Wow was it ever cold in Minnesota. We could use a little of those colder temps but not that cold, Yikes 13 degrees and playing football, oh well, LATER
