Monday Morning September 14th

Well we made it to Woodstock, Va. safely after an uneventful trip up I-81 and then a small distance on Rt.11. We made a Walmart stop on the way in to Dee and Mike's Place which is snuggled in between the mountains. Such a beautiful place they have and so generously share with family and friends.

We finally saw some sunshine on the trip after leaving the cabin shrouded in heavy dense fog and wetness. It was great to see such greenery in the Shenandoah Valley as they too have had much rain this summer and then again a rain shower occurred while we ate supper with family at the Cracker Barrel in Woodstock. All the girls with their husbands were there along with Paw Paw for a delicious supper and the gabbing never stopped for what seemed hours.

We came back and got into a game of Euchre and the gals won and then Mike had to get ready to go back to work this morning for the first time since his knee replacement, so we played a round of Kings on the Corner and then stayed up for awhile chatting and watching the movie "Overboard", LATER
