Well since I'm under the weather which does not happen very often so I've been a slacker when it comes to fulfilling my duty to report daily but here goes. I'm somewhat better this morning after a really good nights sleep. I think my biggest issue was that I just got worn down with the 2 hour work outs on the pickle ball courts the past 4 days and then the garden work in the heat every day for a couple hours and then two nights out to ball games and baby sitting; anyhow I do seem to be on the mend.
Saturday pretty much found me inside napping after a hearty breakfast until lunch time. I was coughing and bringing up now some colored phlegm which was an indicator of the infection down deep in the lungs. The head was still clear but the voice was quite changed and really over all I did not feel achy as some do when fighting the flu. It was just the dry cough which changed to the wet cough, oh well. Enough of my issues. We had a house full of company on Friday night and then again for meals through out the day on Saturday. Christine is the only one left at our house last night but all came for a supper of macaroni salad, burgers and dogs with lots of extras. Most everyone else left for a motel around 9'ish or so. I grilled the supper then headed into the shower and with a spoon full of some decongestant was soon knocked out by the time everyone headed out.
I tried to stay away from Arriane new baby boy, Anthony as he was the star attraction and he is just so cute. Eliza Faye is just smitten with him as is everyone else. We were so surprised to see how much Errol is so attentive to his needs as well. People were coming and going through out the day and evening as plans were being made for the viewing today (Sunday) at the funeral home and then again for the burial tomorrow morning in Safety Harbor. Bobby is coming today after church and preparing food for everyone and then tomorrow we will visit the Olive Garden for a lunch after the internment. I'm hoping I'm not coughing much tomorrow but I will stay away today from the viewing. I cancelled my attending BridgePoint this morning but did drop off Nancy and Christine so they could attend, LATER
