Well Thursday was basically a fun day except for some small garden and yard chores. It was cool to start the day but a front came through bringing a stiff breeze through out the day and evening. It was a great day for drying clothes outside on the line. I got in two hours of pickle ball play in the evening with some old friends at the country club and when we called it a night we all were tired with a wet shirt.
I started the day with a before 6 roll out to my routines that start with some quiet time with my LORD giving thanks and lifting several up by name. All seem as well as can be expected. I knew I was playing around 6 in the evening so I wanted to conserve my energy so I held off on the early morning hike with Rocky and we took him together before lunch.
I piddled around hand watering the new seedlings and transplanting some flowers as well as hoeing weeds and getting the upper garden ready for seeds that had germinated. The flower beds are exploding with new seeds showing colors as well.
We had a semi mountain breakfast of left over cakes, sausage and eggs, yeow was that every good and it held us until lunchtime which we just ate a small salad. I wanted to eat early for supper since I was on the court at 6 so we shared a small frozen pizza. The play on the court was with just 4 of us and of course some of the players were 30 year or more younger. I stayed with them winning several games with different partners but I could tell I'm stronger first thing in the morning. I lasted two solid hours with out a break and was whupped when I got home.
After a hot shower we settled into the Lightning game in N.Y. and they pulled out a third straight win after going down by 2 games. It was a hard fought game and they will have a chance to close out the series on Saturday in Tampa. The Ray's swept the Cardinals at home in St Pete, LATER
