Well Saturday was a totally fun day as we visited with son Bobby and his family in Brandon for a combined birthday/pool party for Gabe and Annsley. All of my grand kiddos where there as well as all of Katie's immediate family. There where nerf gun battles for the boys and men as well as art deco for the girls in their garage and all were in the pool even I was in there with 20 screaming kiddos as the pool was so refreshing. There were Nathan dogs, veggie trays and tons of chips of all flavors as well as cup cakes.
The day started much the usual with a 6ish roll out. I did my morning routines that start with the hot tea laced with turmeric while I spent some quiet time in thanksgiving and lifting up several and then posting this ramble. We got ready around 9:30 and headed out loaded with tons of presents and food for the party and then a salad for our supper that was accompanied by pizza as we stayed until nearly dark. The grand kiddos were in their own world playing and having such a fun time together. I was whipped after the pool party and had no problem hitting the sack after a hot shower around 9:30. What a fun day and the relationships between their friends and us have grown over the years as many are also Element Church attenders.
Today we head out to BridgePoint Church where we will meet for the first time at SPC which is next door to the Rec. Center where we have been meeting for the past year or so. There use to be a small gathering from another church meeting there but they decided to go back to the mother church and abandon the college; so we took over their space which means we don't have to unload at 6 AM and then reload at 1PM each Sunday. We now will be able to leave our set up there and also use their PA system. This is their initial Sunday for that occurring and we will get to be a part of that.
The Ray's won again but maybe too late to get in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Bucs play today so we will get to see some of that game in Minnesota against the Vikings. We destroyed the Bears last week and lets hope they will do the same this week to an old division rival. We will spent the afternoon getting ready for a 4 AM start on Monday as we head back to the cabin for a few days before traveling to Michigan to spent GG's birthday with her next weekend, LATER
I will be away from this keyboard tomorrow as we leave early so if you get the chance think of us in your prayers for safe uneventful travel and don't forget to worship today with other Believers, pray for our nation and for those who have lost everything in these storms the past couple of weeks.
