Well it was another warm day with temps up into the middle 80's and a steady breeze which kept it bearable to be outside. There was plenty of sunshine to accompany the warmer than normal day but a front is expected in the next day or so which could drop the lows somewhere into the 60's and the highs into the low 70's. We sure could use some rain as I'm watering by hand the garden at least twice a day. I babysat Eliza Faye while the girls took off shopping for a couple hours after lunch and she and I have become buddies again.
The day started much the usual with a before 6 roll out and then my usual few quiet moments with my Creator and then the posting of this mundane ramble. I ate a lite breakfast before getting ready to ride out on my bike to the REC for hour and half of pickle ball. A couple of the A players were back but we had 20 plus others, some of whom I've never seen before. The mixture of these different caliber of players made it difficult to keep the challenge court going but we did for quite awhile. On Tuesday and Thursday the gym is open for all morning so we really get a mixture of the talent. Anyhow it was really good to see all of the interest of so many folks playing the game.
I stopped off at the library for a new read before heading home. I noticed the carrots are poking through the ground and the green beans have added another leaf or two. Everything is looking good and I have some new lettuce seeds sprouted as well. Hopefully they will be big enough to transplant in a couple days as I'm hungry for my home grown salads. We ate salad and some left over ham salad on a bun for lunch and then the girls(Amy, GG and Nancy) took off to the mall. Eliza and I watched her favorite kids cartoons on the laptop and then watched Frozen the Disney movie as its one of her favorite shows. I sat and read in between her moments when she wanted attention. She is such a cutie and becoming very smart as well and she loves books where there is counting in the story. She knows her colors and most all items as she associates them with things she sees in her surroundings.
Well we had some stir fry for supper and after the clean up we settled into the Fox News channel where we see some in the drive-by media is finally commenting negatively on this potus and his decision to confront the Islamic Terrorists with real force. It's about time some of those who have given him a free pass on his incompetence regarding these radicals and how to deal with them. Several state governors are refusing to go along with allowing many of the Syrian refugees he wants to be allowed to enter the country. Who knows their allegiance or even if they are terrorists themselves as one of them was responsible for planning and carrying out the massacre in France.
Thanks to Fox News for giving us the real scoop and not some watered down pablum that favors this inept potus. I hope we survive as a country until he finally leaves office and we can get some real leadership on all fronts for our nation. This potus has favored the special interests economically, the divisiveness in racial fronts and the lack of supporting what is right with what is wrong and now he is letting drug dealers out of prison and commuting their sentences. This potus is an abomination to our country and I'm sure he will give Hillary a free pass as well when the FBI bring charges. They both have ruined the nation in so many ways with their arrogance and above the law attitude. How did so many people let these two become so influential in our country. Wake Up America as we are being led down the road to destruction not only on the world scene as we let our allies suffer without any real support militarily but here economically with this out of control spending for the illegals, refugees and welfare for the lazy, LATER
