Well this month is half gone already and Thanksgiving will soon be upon us, or at least we hope so. If the bloody dem's get their way it won't as they are promoting the shut down of the nation which would promote their socialist agenda even further. I'll get back to that at a later time but I started the day on Sunday with a 6 ish roll out to my usual routines of posting this ramble, spending some quiet time to honor my Lord and Creator as well as lift many up by name before checking on the news and giving my two cents worth on social media. Nancy wanted to try a different church this morning as Bridgepoint is still not opening completely except on line and we can view that any time. Bridgepoint still haven't purchased the new building site for Seminole which we visited last week.
I picked Dan and Carol as they put the bug in Nancy's ear about visiting this church called Generation. It's not far from the house. Well its modeled on our church with parking attendants, an open area with coffee, tea, etc and then into the worship center with a raised stage. The music was so loud it vibrated the over head lights and was quite a distraction. It was a fund raiser day for those who regularly attend so there wasn't much of a message but what we did hear wasn't to our satisfaction. It was about today's kingdom in their realm and not of GOD's message to us through the gospel. We were all in agreement this type of worship didn't give up the message of repentance and then salvation for those who needed Jesus in their daily life, especially with all of the signs we are seeing in the world today. We were totally turned off by their message of wanting funds to expand their building fund, and their college scholarships. Oh well.
Our old campus pastor is leaving our church and going into counseling due to all this covid issue of shutting down our campus forever which was held at the local college facility. He will be greatly missed but he and his family will stay in the area. After the service which was more like a concert at times we headed to Sam's Club which was just down the road for an item for Amy and to gas up at 1.74. We then stopped at Culver's for a lite lunch before heading home. Carol had invited up later in the evening to help clean up some leftovers from a few days ago when we had a large dinner gathering at her house, so we ate lite.
I broke down after hand watering the garden and watched the NFL. The Bucs were playing their old league opponents, the Panthers in Charlotte and once again we came out victorious. I did notice while watering the gardens the pole bean seeds at sowed on Wednesday had broken ground and were showing some color. The transplanted seedlings aren't looking too great except for the curly leaf kale which looks hearty. Its still so dad gum hot here I'm surprised anything is growing.
Well its back to Brandon on Wednesday afternoon for Gabe's 6:30 championship game and then we will have some twin time as well, LATER
