Well Thursday was about as null and void as possible as I read the afternoon and late morning away after two hours of pickle ball. Nancy was at the hospital all day with her mom and brother Eric so I knocked out 400 pages of a 800 plus book, yeow what a fantastic read titled 11/22/63 by Stephen King.
The day started much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my morning routines that started with a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I post this ramble. I then spent a few quiet moments with my Creator lifting up those I know for comfort and healing before I did my morning checks on the internet with the mountain weather and obit's in Winchester. Afterwards I got ready to ride out to the rec. on my bike while I munched on an apple for breakfast. We had two courts in action and I never sat down for the next two hour as the play wasn't quite the caliber of an A player but pretty darn close. Some of these B players are doing quite well especially the young players who are 50 years my junior.
I headed home and hand watered the gardens before vegetating in the reading room. Bobby came back and had a quick lunch with me in between one of his jobs and then I was alone until 5:30 when Nancy and Eric came by for supper. I grilled salmon fillets and we had a fresh salad along with the last of the collards greens. Eric said he loved them so much I will put another pot on for our supper when GG, Eric, Sam and Eliza Faye all come for supper this evening as well and then the kiddos will spent the night as Ava has a sleep over with some of her classmates. Eric and Nancy took off after supper and went back to the hospital to visit GG and they got back some close to 10. I was in the shower and then read and watched a little NHL out of the corner of my eye but this book is so addicting. I sure miss O'Reilly and "the Spin stops here" show on FOX. I'm hoping FOX suffers in the pocketbook for allowing the left to dictate what we the viewers want to see and hear and that is the truth about how the country is ruined by the left leaning wackos and liberals with no one to call them out except Bill. Hopefully Tucker Carlson and Hannity will step up but they just aren't up to Bill's caliber as of yet, LATER
