Well Sunday morning was teary eyed for me as the Ross Family left after being here for close to two weeks off and on, at least Rocky was for the whole two weeks. They left a little before 7 and got back to Seminole some time around 6'ish. They made great time until they hit Ocala in Florida and then the traffic was terrible on I-75 and the heat was over a hundred degrees. What a change from when they left here with temps in the 60's to start the day. I know Rocky must be panting in being back in the constant heat, oh well. Their small SUV was packed and loaded down with all of their belonging and the big Rocky. We are sure thrilled it was an uneventful trip for them and they made it back safely. son Bobby and family was on their way back from a huge over seas trip to the north on a cruise ship for 10 days after leaving from London. I haven't heard from them since they left Europe.
Well we did our usual morning routines on Sunday before heading out to Cornerstone for the first time in 3 weeks. We watched Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg then headed out to our Cornerstone Fellowship in Sparta. We got word another friend of ours from the early beginning of the church is very ill and not looking good will severe health issues. After the service since Jake and Katelyn has last minute meeting for their mission trip this morning we skipped eating out with them and came home to eat as we have tons of leftovers in the fridge from the last couple of days. I did a few piddly jobs after lunch as the tomato plants were falling over from being so tall and the wind, so I staked them and then tied the bean poles to a stake as well as they too are being blown over with the strong wind at times. They have grown to the top of the 7 ft poles, but haven't begun to bloom yet. I noticed a couple more potato plants have emerged from the bed I had them in so I transplanted them into an area where I'm growing fall tatters. I harvested anothe bucket of yellow squash and will bless the neighbors today with some.
I watched the Rays lose to the Orioles at home in Tampa and it was a rain delay for hours as they now play outside since the Trop was damaged severely by the hurricane last summer. Nancy was on the phone with Carol for a couple hours so I read then watched some videos on the laptop before hitting the shower and then some horizontal lab around 10'ish. We did speak with baby sister Dee for a few as we head up to their place in Woodstock, Va. which is about a 4-5 hour drive on Thursday morning for a couple of days as we celebrate her and my's birthdays next Saturday with her other two older sisters. Their dad who was my uncle took me in when I was but a small lad and raised me until I left home at 17. They all have called me their brother despite being first cousins and my kids and grands call them my sisters as well. It should be a fun time with them with some fine eatin' and game playing as well, LATER
