Well Wednesday was another hot muggy day with temps up into the low 90's with no rain in site, oh well. I've just about given up on the garden except for a few tomato's that are still maturing and the egg plant which is thriving. Everything else is just about gone except I need to harvest some carrots and a little kale that is holding on. The collards have another mess in them but I'm afraid they may be bitter from all this heat., oh well. I'm getting excited about the thought of my summer garden in the mountains and I have several volunteer tomato's in my compose to bring with me for that garden.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my routines that start with some quiet time after posting this ramble to honor my LORD, give thanks and lift up several for comfort and healing, all seem to be holding on as well. I stayed away from pickle ball in hopes this lower back muscle will heal and it has enough to allow me to bike ride and clip the shrubbery along our fences. It's not a total healings but enough I can function with out too much pain. I'm still using creams on it as well at night. I'll probably not go back this year and stick with bike riding until I get to hiking at the cabin in a couple weeks.
Nancy was off once again shopping for family before we leave in a little over a week. After she got back we had some lunch then we took off for her doctor's visit for the heart and then off to Sam's Club for some items. I filled up at 3.34 which is down from 3.59 and then we made a couple more stops before heading home. Nancy fried up the fresh grouper our neighbor across the street gave us from one of his fishing trips. There was enough for another meal in a couple of days as this was delicious. After the clean up we settled into the Ray's game and for the second night in a row the bats were silent with tons of base runners in a 2-1 loss to the Orioles. Oh well we are still leading the league and all of MLB thus far, LATER
