Sunday Morning July 18th

Well Saturday was another warm and muggy day and with that came torrential down pours in the afternoon and evening with lightning and thunder. The first part of the day was nice with some some sunshine and blue skies but that changed as the day progressed. I piddled around in my yard and gardens and helped Steve with his attempt to get water from his well. I let him use my well bucket after first instructing him on its use. Ava Mae was enroute to Alaska with a mission team from her church for a week or so.

Everyone's food was satisfiable but I do not recommend the fried chicken or at least not on this night. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. We came back and played spades until neatly 9 PM when they headed down to their coach. It was a fun day despite the heavy rains. The Ray's after winning the night before were getting whupped big time, LATER
