Sunday

Well it was another cold morning to start the day with some scattered frost on the roof tops and again this morning as well. It did reach the upper 60's for the highs and lots of sunshine but the breeze kept it chilly in the shade. We slept in until after 7 for a change. My back and leg pain is at the constant dull ache stage so maybe I can live with that without being on meds. We spoke with several folks from up in the snow country and there are piles of it stacked up after getting the roads and driveways opened.

We had a mountain breakfast with sausage, eggs and grits for breakfast and that held us until we headed out to Applebees for a supper around 5 'ish. Luckily we went early 'cause when we left the restaurant around 6:30 there was a long line of folks waiting to get in. We had a nice meal but we are so use to fresh herbs and spices the meal was a bit boring but filling. We came back to Dan and Carols for a couple games of Phase 10 and Golf and the gals were each the big winners on both games.

We took a trip down to Sam's Club around lunchtime to stock up on a few items and the roads were just packed with traffic. A major 6 lane road was jammed that is near our house and it took several light changes to get through the intersections. It's was almost like a parking lot with so many out of state vehicles. I can't really blame them with all of the bad weather just to the north of us. Yesterday Florida was the only state with no snow on the ground according to the weatherman. Nancy picked a nice mess of green beans from the garden and I picked a handful of teardrop tomatoes(small).

Well today is worship day in Tampa at Element Church. We will get to see our son and his family as well as many of our friends, LATER
