Monday Morning Dec 2nd

Well Sunday was another busy and while the back and leg pain is still there its a lot more subdued and manageable as I was able to attend church and then we had a house full of family during the afternoon and evening for a delicious supper.

I had started the day with a 7'ish rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet time to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all are holding and I'm feeling the prayers for me by so many at church as well. Well the pain is tolerable and I'm only on some Tylenol at night time and I do feel things are getting better, hopefully. I slept great the past two nights and I think that helps as well as doing the stretches during the day. I'm hoping that maybe today's chiro visit will be one of my lasts, except for a maintenance one in the future.

Nancy and I actually worked the side door at church and I had so many wishing me well and that prayers were said for me during this period. It was great to be able to function despite some pain in the back and leg as we greeted and then we heard an awesome message as well. We came back and I helped a little around the house as Nancy prepared for 15 folks for a supper of burgers and dogs, salads, mac and cheese and tater salad as well as desserts which I stayed away from. Before we ate Bobby, Tyler and Sam moved that pile of mulch from the stump grinder into one section of my garden that I will let meld before using it to mulch my plants out in front of the house. That was a tremendous help to say the least now I just need to get the tree guys back to put up my fence they took down when removing the tree from the back yard.

After supper we all sat around talking and sharing stories from old times as it was a good reunion for both Betsy and Nancy with their brother Eric who was down for Thanksgiving to visit Arriane. She brought him and then another brother Philip came by as well as our kids and grands minus Annsley and Gabe. It was another full house but very enjoyable. We watched the Bucs finally win a game after nearly losing to a 3-8 team in Charlotte. After the game which was going on 8 everyone left for home. I watched a little of the blow out in Buffalo in a snow storm until half time then retired to the computer until lights out at 10, LATER
