Well this month just flew by and now there is just one whole month between when we leave for the cabin at the end of May, wow I am ready for a change in landscape but will miss many things here, especially pickle ball daily, oh well. I'll have many up and down the yards with its hill and valleys that should help keep me in shape as well as some hiking the mountains occasionally.
I started Sunday with a sleep in until nearly 6 o'clock for a change as we were up late the night before. We did our usual morning routines that begin with some quiet moments to honor my lord, Jesus and to give thanks for another day as well as to lift several up for comfort and healing. Sister Dee and Mike broke down yesterday morning on their way back to Virginia pulling their camper some where north of Tampa but was able to get a wrecker to tow them for repairs and to a camper park for the night and possibly a day or so while their truck is repaired. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers that all goes well.
We watched Cornerstone Chapel on line before heading out to our local S.R.B.C. for the 10:30 service and worked the side door as greeters welcoming folks to the church which we love doing. After the service we met up with friends and neighbors at Culver's for Walleye Pike fish which Nancy and I both love and saw where several of our church family was in attendance as well as an old church member was there and came over to greet us.
The food was delicious and plentiful and it held us the rest of the day and evening. I chilled watching the March madness basketball games until 8'ish then read and watched some ALONE on the bedroom TV. I forgot to mention Amy came by in the late afternoon and I loaded her up with lettuces and kale and then hand watered, despite we did get some rain over night, but the hot sun and stiff breeze soon dried out the soil and the new sod in the back yard. It was lights out at 10 for me, LATER
