Sunday Morning..4 days to departure

Well it was my last load in for BridgePoint Church this morning at 6 Am with a great bunch of volunteers until next November unless we find a permanent building to house our church. I will surely miss this weekly act to help folks get closer to GOD.

Saturday was a fun day as I headed out on my bike a little before 8 to the rec. for two hours of pickle ball. We finally had the gym for the morning and there were three courts in action with a couple new players who were quite good. Afterwards I headed home and loaded up our beach equipment; chairs, umbrella, lotions and towels along with a new book. We got to the beach for the first time this year around 10:30 as we are only 15 minutes or so from the house. Amy and her family came around 11'ish as well and joined us. I got in a good swim and it felt like we were tourists for a change. The beach was loaded with all sizes and shapes of bikini clad bodies and some of the gals were hanging out with little or no modesty, yeow. We stayed until nearly 1'ish before packing up and heading home to a light lunch.

Nancy hit the showers and then headed out with Carol and Kathryn to the Seminole Center to brows the shops while I read until it was time to meet up with the gang at the Botbyl's house for pizza and wings to watch the third leg of the triple crown. We  have a new winner in Justify as he ran away from the field for the third win in a row. What a remarkable horse he is with a very humble jockey who is the oldest to ever to win the crown. We headed home shortly there after as no one wanted to play games.

I tuned into a movie on HBO called Kill the Messenger about the Nicaraga rebels pushing drugs in the USA to garner funds to pay for weapons and the reporter who broke the story. It was based on  a true story and he eventually lost his job, family and his life as a result of his decision to expose this story. It wasn't long afterwards I hit the sack as it was a full day and the sun drains you, LATER
