Well this month has quickly come and gone and this last 10 days or so have been unmemorable to say the least with this low back muscle pain. I headed out to the local chiro yesterday and it was what I thought thus far minus the x-rays of being out of alignment This happened to me a few years back in Seminole and I must say its not a fun kind of occurrence. He gave me a regiment of ice treatments on the back for 10 minutes out of every hour for 9 hours and to double up on the Motrin for at least 2400mg in a 24 hour period. Thus far its not made a whole lot of difference but I may have seen just a little improvement this morning which is usually the most painful after arising, oh well. I'm back again for what is supposed to be another treatment and to learn what the x-rays show.
Really not a whole lot to write about except I tried to do everything on his advice. I did walk around as much as possible and didn't sit for more than 30 minutes at a time. I did no physical work except get beat by Nancy playing cards during the afternoon. We did take an excursion to the top of the mountain with me following her in the golf cart while she hiked. We stopped and chatted a few with a couple of the neighbors before heading back. I cut up a whole chicken and grilled it for our supper which has once become one of our favorite meals. I especially like the bony pieces which you only get with a whole chicken. Our kiddos loved them as well growing up plus they are very inexpensive at about 6 bucks a chicken and we usually get a couple meals using the leftovers on a salad.
I'm hoping for some more relief today with hopefully a manipulation by the chiro which seemed to help from years back. I must slow down and not do much in the way of reinjuring this back with the Bobby and family coming in about 10 days. I'll pass on the horseback riding and the zip line as well as the kayak float with the way I feel now. I'm just thankfully I can still walk around despite pain and discomfort in the leg and back, LATER
