Tuesday Morning

Well Monday was one Veterans Day we won't forget as we buried Nancy's mom who fought to live but her heart just gave out. We put her in a mausoleum with her husband who passed about 5 years ago in Safety harbor. The gardens were so manicured and beautiful for their final resting place. Bobby our son conducted the service and a couple of folks spoke and Eric the son who is Catholic had a priest to do a ritual service as well. We saw some folks we hadn't seen in several years and the health and condition of some were startling.

All of the family minus a few who could not attend met at the Olive Garden near by for a lunch meal which would have pleased GG as well. We did the same thing when we buried her husband which she thought was honorable. After a delicious lunch I drove Eric and his son Austin who is relocating to St.Pete next week as a CFO for a huge corporation in the area to the Tampa Airport as they traveled on different flights to Detroit and Charlotte. We are so looking forward to Austin and his family as they are just special to us. Eric heads back to Michigan to put GG's trust into action for the family for Betsy and Nancy and settles up her outstanding obligations as he is the executor of the trust and will.

Betsy and Braden drove Nancy and Chris home and stayed several hours visiting and playing Kings on the corner a card game. I'm was still somewhat under the weather with this chest cold and hacking so I took a good dose of expectorant and hit the sack about 9'ish and slept until nearly 7 this morning. We all said our goodbye's to a great lady yesterday and she will be greatly missed but she lived longer then her mom, father and husband and was in good spirits throughout these last couple years when she suffered these heart related issues; but what is remarkable she never complained of any pain throughout this ordeal, LATER
